WB Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme Application Form PDF Download: West Bengal government has launched a new WB Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme 2026 for women head of families. This Lakshmi Bhandar (Laxmi’s Treasure) is a new scheme to ensure monthly Basic Income support to female heads of ~2.1-2.4 Cr households of West Bengal. In Laxmi Bhandar scheme, govt. will provide monthly ₹1,500 to families of general category (Yearly ₹18,000) and ₹1,700 to families of SC/ST (Yearly ₹20,400).

The state government has raised allowances under this scheme in the Feb 5, 2026 budget ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.

2026 Updates – Ahead of WB Assembly Elections (Mar-Apr 2026)

In the Feb 5, 2026 budget, the allowances were hiked by +₹500 per month: General category to ₹1,500/month (₹18,000/year), SC/ST category to ₹1,700/month (₹20,400/year), effective from February 2026 payments. The scheme covers ~2.1-2.4 Cr beneficiaries with ₹15,000 Cr extra allocation. Swasthya Sathi enrollment is mandatory. Feb 2026 payments are starting soon via DBT.

What is Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme 2026

The State’s monthly average Consumption Expenditure of a household is about ₹6000. Providing a monthly income support of ₹1,500 (yearly ₹18,000) to General Category households and ₹1,700 (yearly ₹20,400) to SC/ST Category households, would account for 25% and 28% of their monthly expenditure respectively. This amount would be directly deposited into bank accounts of ~2.1-2.4 Cr female heads of the families in West Bengal. It would include every household from SC/ST community.

STEP 2: The homepage of Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme will appear as shown below:

STEP 3: Make Login using the registered mobile number, OTP received on your mobile number and hitting at “Login” button to check Laxmi Bhandar Status through online mode.

You can directly visit the track applicant link to track your application as well as payment status using Mobile Number, Application ID, Aadhaar Card or SwasthyaSathi card number as shown in the image below.

Eligibility of WB Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme

The WB Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme now helps ~2.1-2.4 Cr families across the state.

Women aged 25-60 years, residents of West Bengal from economically weaker sections are eligible to apply for this scheme.

For General Category, this income support is provided to all households except those having at least one tax-paying member and those owning land more than 2 hectare.

Beneficiaries must have Aadhaar linked to their bank accounts, Swasthya Sathi enrollment, and accurate personal details in records.

Government job holders or those receiving govt pensions or other similar government benefits are not eligible.
